What does the index mean?
The air-quality index combines several atmospheric pollutants, including PM2.5 and PM10 fine particles, ozone and nitrogen dioxide. A lower value generally indicates better quality.
For sensitive people
Children, older people and people with respiratory or cardiac conditions can be more sensitive. When quality deteriorates, limit long and intense outdoor exertion.
